Sung Kang

Sung Kang

He is a rising star that controls the screen in movies or television with his aura of laid-back ease. He is 42 years old and has 44 acting credits to his name as well as writer, producer and director. He is Korean and I was surprised to learn he was born in Gainesville, Georgia USA on April 8, 1972, making him an American Actor.

Pali Road | Full Drama Mystery

My favorite series of movies so far of his are: Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, Fast and Furious, Fast 5, Fast and Furious 6 and Bullet to the Head with Sylvester Stallone, as Detective Taylor Kwon. I love action movies, and they were excellent. Sung played the role of Han Seoul-Oh in all the Fast and Furious series.

And, currently he is starring in a Fox weekly show titled: Gang Related which he plays the role of Detective Tae Kim a member of the Los Angeles elite Gang Task Force. I am looking forward to this show because it is an action crime thriller with plenty of drama. Sung looks great in his new role and I cannot wait for the season to begin on May 22, 2014 on Fox.

Sung has acted in 21 television roles and 23 movies and there are more planned in his future. I wish him the very best in life with happiness of a true love and a family of his own.

Bruce Willis---The Master of Action Movie

Bruce Willis stole my action heart in 1988 with Die Hard as Lt. John McClane and I became a fan. Hehas 95 credits to his name and is still going strong with movies planned into 2015.

Apex_(2021) Bruce is one of my favorites- I have written more about him than any other actor. Number 1 in my heart. I wish him all the love and prayers to make him well.

Hard Kill (2020)

Bruce Willis' character is Donovan Chalmers CEO billionaire tech. He hires mercenaries to protect his important work because it is so valuable. He is mister action in any movies he plays in even though he has men to protect him. No one thought terrorists would kidnap his beautiful daughter to get his present work. Also starring Jesse Metcalfe, Sergio Rizzuto, Tyler Jon Olson. I cannot wait for this movie--I love Bruce Willis action movies and especially his laugh.

                                                     Survive the Night (2020)

Frank Clark (Bruce Willis) the father of Rich Clark (Chad Michael Murray) who is a trauma doctor with a family that lives in a nice section of town. Two criminals enter a store to rob it and one is them is shot in the leg. First, they visit a local hospital then, stalks Rich Clark to his home. They take his wife and daughter as hostage demanding he operate on his brother or he will kill his family. Rich teams up with his tough retired sheriff Frank, in order to survive the night.

rings his own fire to the mayhem, and has played in many of my favorite action movies. I suppose they were my favorites mainly because of him. He has charisma, uniqueness, and the most adorable laugh in the movies today.

Armageddon (1998)

Bruce has been in other great films like: Last Man Standing, Armageddon, The Siege, Tears of the Sun, Lucky Number Slevin, Assassination of a High School President, The Expendables, The Expendables 2, Red, Red 2 and G.I. Joe: Retaliation and the list goes on.

Last Man Standing (1996)

He is such a superb actor that is why he is a “Super Star” and has millions of fans to prove it. He has films planned in the future as far ahead as 2020, and I am sure he will act in many more to follow. I had all the Die Hard early Movies on video and I wore them out watching them and sharing them with my family. So, I will need to replace them with DVD’s very soon; because I miss my Die Hard weekend movies. He is number 1 with me--I love his movies.

Liam Neeson---Actor of Genius Performing Skills and Integrity

                                  Liam Neeson

                                                                                                                           Father
Liam Neeson is one of the finest actors on stage, screen and television today. Before I mention my favorite movies of his, I want to talk about him being a great father. Before all else he is a father then an actor and, I admire his dedication to that fact.

My heart was with him in 2009 when he lost his dear beautiful wife Natasha Richardson whom he married in July 1994. They had two sons together in their 15 years of marriage. I am sure their hearts still ache for their loss.

Taken 2

Liam is 61 years old---he was born in Ballymena, United Kingdom June 7th, 1952. He has played many diverse characters in his career of 96 movies. And, now he is considered an action actor as we have seen in the movies Taken and Taken 2 with Taken 3 in his future, which will be announced later.

I liked his character of Briar Gates in Next of Kin starring Patrick Swayze.

And, My next favorite movie is Shining Through starring Michael Douglas and Melanie Griffith. His character was Franze-Otto Dietrich a Nazi German Officer---he was great in this movie.

I have watched so many of his movies with the exception of Schindler’s List---I just cannot watch such sad movies. He shines in every movie and has millions of fans and I am one of them.
Unknown

I wish Liam and his family the very best and may their future be bright with love and happiness. His movies are a testimonial of why he has so many fans and admirers of other actors and actresses. And, we will be honored to see more of his performances in future films. This is why he is included on my Blog of Accolades---Actors and Actresses.

This is one of his latest movies that I want to see: Non-Stop

Cameron Bancroft---A Canadian Actor Endowed with Unique Acting Talents.

Cameron Bancroft is a Canadian actor born May 17th 1967 in Winnipeg Canada. He has 67 titles to his credit with more in his future. He is a husband, and a father of two children. He has performed on stage, screen and television from a early age.

I adored the types of TV movies he chose to act in because I can enjoy them with my family. From my research I found he started his career in General Hospital a very popular soap on ABC in the USA.

However, before that he starred in CBCs The Beachcombers (1985-1991) My favorite TV movies are the ones in the 1800s, I would like a time machine to visit that period----but not stay as I need my computer and DVD's.

Because of Cameron's hiking accident he could not play professional hockey---and he was a great player and was recruited by WHL hockey team to play for the Kamloop Blazers. But he does play with the NHL Celebrity Hockey team, which is great for him.

Cameron is a very talented actor who has magnetism in his movies and his method of acting reminds me of the saying---still waters run deep—which should get and keep the viewers' attention, especially the ladies.

The first movie I saw of his was Hannah's Law, which took place in the 1800s, but Cameron's role was very short-lived as he played Hannah's father that was shot by thieves, which came to their home for fresh horses.

I thought it was the first and then I remembered---"Mystery Alaska" (1999) with Russell Crowe. Cameron played "Tinker" Connolly a very good hockey player for Mystery Alaska's team.

And another movie I liked very much was also in the 1800s and the title is Mail Order Bride. Also, here is a short trailer about the movie.

He Sees You When You're Sleeping (2002)

Cameron has a TV movie for 2013 titled Garage Sale Mystery (September 14th 2013 on USA Network) mark your calendars for a great treat.

Daniel Sunjata---Accolades to a Soaring Glimmering Star.

Daniel Sunjata is an American actor who has acted in films, television and theater. It is difficult to believe he is only 41 years old with a very full resume already in life.

He has 32 titles to his credit and has just finished a movie titled “Lullaby” a drama which may premiere in 2013---no additional information at this time.

Daniel Sunjata is a tall dark handsome actor with dimples that accents his full lips. He is the hunk in my mind when I write some of my poems as well as other “Eye-Candy Hunks” of my favorite actors. I appreciate beauty in any living creature (and creature meaning any living person or animal.)

Daniel is now playing in “Graceland” on USA Network as the renowned FBI agent Paul Briggs. Paul is the protector of the undercover unit of agents from the FBI, DEA and ICE, each agent respects him for his knowledge and skills.

One main difference in this unit—the six agents are required to live together in a beach home in Southern California; which was seized by the government in a drug raid. This beautiful beach house is now owed by the government for the benefit of catching drug criminals of the highest order. These agents are the “Cream of the Crop” the supreme chosen few. The beautiful beach house is privately known as “Graceland.”

Undercover agents are professional liars as well as the best actors/actresses---as they need to be to save their life---and to protect the other agents. Because in the real world one has to be

persuasive because these criminals will kill without blinking. So no amateurs can be in the Elite Agent’s Unit---only the best have a chance to survive.

The other actor and actresses in Graceland are magnificent: Mike Warren ( Aaron Tveit) the newest agent who is stealthfully investigating Paul Briggs for the FBI; Joe “Johnny” Tuturro (Manny Montana) he is the toughest and all around most talented---almost a Navy SEAL—not to forget so very cute---with a big heart; Paige Arkin (Serinda Swan) She is a true professional and doesn’t mind sharing her knowledge if she thinks it will help another agent; Catherine “Charlie” DeMarco (Vanessa Ferlito) she is one of the best actresses to play this type of action, crime drama in television today--- and so believable in her role—she is a five star actress in my book of favorites---and Dale Jakes (Brandon Jay McLaren) is simply magnificent in his role---I would be so afraid of him in real life---he is that authentic.

All of these characters have the capability of eliciting belief in their roles and this is how real undercover agents would conduct themselves in the same situations---at least I believe it.

I really enjoyed the movie “Gone” where Detective Powers (Daniel Sunjata)  who had an inflated ego, yes---he was overconfident/arrogant. He thought his professional surveillance was above reproach. And sometime even when the---truth is standing in front of him---he is blind.

This is a really good movie and Jill (Amanda Seyfried) was great in this movie as were all the characters. The film had some great shots with the forest in the background including the bridge that crossed a beautiful river that flowed swiftly through the forest. I would see this film again---it is that good.

The main character Jill lived in Portland Oregon with her sister Molly (Emily Wickersham) staying with her. Jill was a waitress and Molly was going to college in their city. Both had suffered the great loss of both parents within a short time of each other.

It was especially hard for Jill because shortly after her parent’s death she was kidnapped and put in a deep hole in the forest. She managed to get out of the hole after finding human remains in it and was rescued by a hiker. She was covered with mud and hysterical---as anyone would be when found.

The police patted themselves on this blue backs for doing a good job of searching and did not find the hole Jill said she had been in. Now it is not possible they searched the entire forest inch by inch. But they just knew their search was handled properly because they used police dogs---so they thought they proved their point.

They concluded even though she was in bad shape when found that it was all her imagination and no real kidnapper existed---because she had been under the care of a psychiatrist at a psychiatric institution after her parents death for a while---therefore to not further the investigation because they were right and just in their decision.

Then her sister was kidnapped and the police again did not believe her---but she proved them wrong.

A very good movie and this one I will watch again.

I loved Daniel Sunjata as Richardo “Ranger” Carlos Manoso  in “One for the Money” he and Katherine Heigl had great chemistry together on the screen. And I would like to see them together again in another movie.

Stephanie Plum is out of a job and out of money---so she goes to work for her cousin Vinnie as a bail enforcement agent with no gear, or training and no skills. She received lessons, and a gun from Ranger---he seems to always be around to help her out. We all need protection from someone like Ranger.

I also liked him as Win Garano a Boston Detective in At Risk and The Front with Andie MacDowell—these movies were based on---Patricia Cornwell’s novels.

Andie MacDowell played Monique Lamont a Boston District Attorney who is sexually promiscuous, very wealthy, and politically ambitious as she wants to be the next governor.

And I have to mention my favorite person Nana (Diahann Carroll) I just her character Nana in this movie---we all need a lively fun-loving magical Nana like this one.The Front and At Risk are two movies I will see again---I really enjoyed them both---and the perfect actors and actresses were chosen for the roles.

This blog is to spotlight some of my favorite actors and actresses who have brought so many fans enjoyment and enriched to our lives with entertainment that lasts a live time. And to accent the pleasure one can always buy the DVD’s of their favorite movies.

Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio---He Radiates Charisma On and Off the Screen

Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio was born November 11, 1974 in Los Angeles, California. Leo an only child of his parents---George and Inmelin DiCaprio. They hired an agent for Leo when he was very young. Leo began acting in commercials and appearing on educational shows. He had small parts in various shows before his big break.

In 1991 he was on Roseanne one of the most popular show at the time---as one of Darlene’s classmates--- and that was a beginning to his successful career as an actor. And now he has 35 titles to his credit and he is only 38 years old.

He is now a very handsome man(a boy no longer) with blond hair and beautiful blue eyes that can make any female’s heart palpitate and I am sure his parents are very proud of their son. He is a gentleman without the usual Hollywood gossip following behind him. I am very proud of him as a fan since I do not personally know him.

In 1997 he stole the hearts of many ladies of all ages---in his role as Jack Dawson in Titanic---he was absolutely great. And I have played by DVD of Titanic so many times I need another copy. He was completely believable as Jack Dawson---a young boy who traveled on his own---with the freedom of living anywhere and enjoying his life while using his talent of drawing as a form of making a living. Jack was not afraid to show his love to a rich girl who loved him and his freedom to do as he pleased.

Some of My Favorite Scenes in Titanic
I don’t think there has ever been a movie as fascinating as Titanic was to so many, with its music and the song by Celine Dion was one of the most beautiful songs ever in a movie---in my opinion I could listen to her all day. I get chills every time I hear it.

Leo has played many great parts in so many movies and I believe I have seen them all with the exception of some of the newest ones. Since I missed the movies I will get the DVD’s. I try to support all my favorite actors and actresses by seeing their movies and/or buying their DVD’s if possible.

Every year his movies are better and better and so now he has soared above the stars to shine brightly in the Heavens---maybe to share his talent with the Angels. Don’t forget to come back to earth for all your fans Leo---we are waiting for more movies.

Here are some of his latest movies: Leo can play any part and bring it to life on the screen. Such a handsome vision of The Great Gatsby a man of many facets to his character; one of love, friendship, fun guy who likes big parties. He seems to like a crowd, until he meets the one woman who keeps his attention longer than a minute.

Then "The Wolf  of Wall Street" which is a true story of a man who has excess of everything a man could want. He had money which he gain from his brilliant illegal ways, women, homes, trips, you name it he had it, and the best of it all. Until the Federal Government go involved and then he was in trouble.
Who else could play this part better than Leo? No one who has been born yet. He will always be one of the best actors in my book; and I am one of his fans.

Charles Bronson---Super Star

Charles Bronson was a super star and mostly played the parts of policeman like Family of Cops 1, 2 and 3. He played a gunfighter in many westerns like the Dirty Dozen, Chino and many more. He was a vigilante like in Death Wish, Death Wish 2 and Death Wish 3---where he punished the guilty.

His first movie was "You’re in the Navy Now” in 1951 he acted until 1999 in the movie “Family of Cops 3” which was a TV Movie-- he was then 78 years old.  He was one of  the best action and adventure actors in movie history.

And he was still very active in this movie which he starred in also played with him was his third wife Kim Weeks who was very lovely and they had great charisma together.

He met his first wife Harriett Tendler in 1947 when she was eighteen (18) and he was twenty-six (26) and his name was Charles Buchinsky then---it was later changed it to Charles Bronson. Harriett and Charles were in acting school together in Pennsylvania, but she gave it up and got a job so he could continue his career.

They were married for 16 years before they divorced. She has written a book titled “Charlie and Me” which is available online.

               Death Wish (1974)

Charles Bronson married Jill Island in 1968 until her death from breast cancer in 1990; they were married twenty-two (22) years.  She was very beautiful with blond hair and blue eyes.  After their marriage she was in fourteen movies with him and they were a great team in films and in life.

   Cold Sweat (1970)

The Bronson family was a family that played together---with their seven (7) children---two of his by his marriage to Harriet and she had three (3) from her previous marriage to David McCallum a Scottish actor. Charles and Jill  had one daughter together Zuleika and they adopted one daughter.

                                                                Assassination (1987)

They wanted to be together always and they were until she died. She played with Charles Bronson in the movie “Assassination” which I enjoyed watching last week on Fox’s new movie channel. I feel Jill Ireland was the love of his life. And I say this for one reason---one can tell by watching two people on screen and in real life they were always together. And another reason is because he stayed single for eight (8) years before he remarried to his third and final wife Kim Weeks.

           The Dirty Dozen (1967)

Charles Bronson is credit with 161 amazing titles. And his family said he not like he appeared in the movies---but a sweet lovable teddy bear of a man who loved his family.

I am so sorry I did not get to see all his films from the beginning but it was before my time---but I can enjoy DVD’s of his movies. His Death Wish Trilogy was very popular at the time. And he played in many westerns and was in the famous original “Magnificent Seven” which I want to see again.

Charles Bronson was unique---the quiet man with rough edges that will astound you with his acting talent--- and if you have never seen one of his movies---you are in for a treat.

He was born November 3, 1921 in Ehrenfeld, Pennsylvania and died August 30, 2003 in
Los Angeles of Pneumonia.

He was one of thirteen(13) children born to a Polish-Lithuanian father and a Lithuanian- American mother. He never forgot his roots.
